Missing Child: Court returns Sotitobire founder to Prison in Ondo
Ondo State High Court, sitting in Akure on thursday commenced hearing of a case involving the founder and spiritual leader of Sotitobire Miracle Center, Prophet Alfa Babatunde and six others over members of his church over the disappearance of one year old boy, Gold Kolawole in his church in 2018.
Sotitobire founderAll defendants were brought to court by officials of Olokuta prison, where they were remanded by Magistrate court.
The man of God and others pleaded not guilty to three counts charges brought against them by the Department of State Service (DSS).
Other defendants are Omodara Olayinka Margaret Oyebola ,Grace Ogunjobi, Egunjobi Motunrayo and Esther Kayode.
Counsel for the defendants, Mr Olusola Oke pleaded to the court to grant them bail based on the applications earlier filed were unsuccessful as the Director of Public Prosecutions, Mrs Grace Olowoporoku told Justice Ayedun Odusola that the defendants counsel filed multiple bail applications that were difficult to replied.
Justice Odusola however asked Mr Oke to fine tune his bail applications pending the next court date so as to commence hearing of the bail applications.
The case therefore, adjourned till 16 ,17 and 19 March.
