Re: NAPS 21 days ultimatum to FG on Benin-Sapele Road
While we acknowledge the need for urgent rehabilitation and repair of the Benin-Sapele Axis of the East-West road to ease the stress of motorists plying that roots, the Senate leadership of NAPS hereby distant herself from the purported shenanigan ultimatum issued to the federal government on the 2nd of January 2020 by one imposter by the name Blessing Adogbeji impersonating the Office of the Vice President National Affairs of NAPS.
The senate leadership wish to categorically state, for the information of the public and sake of posterity that election was not conducted for the office of the Vice President National Affairs, PRO, Fin Sec, and some other offices during the last national convention of NAPS and the Senate leadership in consultation with the executive arm led by Comrade Activist Adekanbi Sunday has set machineries in place for a bye election to fill those vacancies in the next senate sitting.
Sequel to the prequel the Senate leadership of NAPS wishes to call on all security apparatus across the country to arrest, detain and prosecute any imposter(s) found to be impersonating any of the aforementioned offices in any guise.
The Senate leadership will communicate through a duly signed communique the names of persons that will eventually emerged as winners of those positions after the bye elections.
Suffice it to say that the leadership of the Senate has reached out to relevant stakeholders to ascertain the state of affairs of the section of the road in question and we are duly informed that the government of Delta state are currently carrying out an intervention on the said road, while we urge the contractors handling the construction to live up to expectations of the masses by speeding up the process, the Senate leadership wish to appreciate the gesture of the state government and call on the federal government to proffer lasting solutions to the states of roads across the country by declaring a state of emergency on federal roads.
In a statement signed by H/E DIO, Oghale Emeka Rex, Nat’l President of the Senate and Comrade Inedi Bright O., Senate Clerk wish to reassure Polytechnics students across the country that her welfare and security remains sacrosanct in the priorities of the “Revolutionary Regime” as we say a happy new year.
