Ondo SDP Chairmanship candidate steps down for Banky

One of the chairmanship aspirant contesting for the Social Democratic Party's chairmanship ticket in Idanre Local government of Ondo state, Mr Akintunde Adebiyi A.K.A Energy has stepped down, VAM News reports.

According to report, aspirant who stepped down in the interest of the party at the party secretariat today at Agosile.

It was learnt that the former SDP chairmanship candidate has collapsed his structures in order to support the candidacy of Mr Akinselure Bankole Banky and vowed to work with him to secure the victory for the party in the coming local government election in the state.

Also speaking, the supporters of the party in the local government who spoke with VAM News said, Mr Akintunde Adebiyi decided to back Akinselure Bankole because of the people's choice, his experience and service to the humanity stressing that, that was the main reason the entire local government is supporting the candidacy of Akinselure Bankole Banky.
