Osun Online Media Practitioners inaugurates Electoral Committee in Osogbo

THE Osun online media practitioners association, Osun state on Friday, November 22nd inaugurated its 2019 Electoral committee members, VAM News reports.

The members of the OOMPA decided in a congress held at the NUJ secretariat Osogbo, Osun state to elect a three men committees, who will pilot the affairs of the association's election.

The newly-inaugurated electoral committee are: Queen Fisayo, Awoyemi Olayinka Rafael and Obarayese Sikiru.

Miss Queen Fisayo is the publisher of Nigeriaupdates media, Mr Awoyemi Olayinka Rafael is the publisher of nationnewslead media, and Obarayese Sikiru is the publisher of happenings media.

While swearing-in the three-man committee, Adesoji Omosebi, Chairman of the association showered encomiums on the members present at the congress for a successful nomination and inauguration.

He also obliged the online Practitioners to maintain ethical conducts and standards while carrying out their duties; he tasked committee members to lend their support for free and fair election; also urging them not to allow their personal interest override the collective interest of the association.

Adesoji charged the newly Inaugurated committee to strictly follow the constitution of OOMPA in discharging its duties.

Speaking on behalf of the electoral committee, Miss Queen Fisayo pledged that the committee will sustain the tempo of good leadership, thereby facilitating the conduct of a remarkable, free and fair election without a bias agenda.

She also pledged to uphold the integrity of the association by eliminating quackery and raising the image of the profession in Osun state.

The Electoral Committee have been given the mandate to work out the modalities by which new Excos would take over in January 2020, Gods willing.
