Ondo govt vows not to interfere on chieftancy matters

The Ondo State government has promised the people of ibulesoro community of the ifedore local government area, that the present administration in the state will not interfere into their chieftancy matters.

The Ondo house of assembly speaker, Hon. David oleyelogun gave this charge onbehalf of the state governor, oluwarotimi Akeredolu, when the people of ibulesoro paid a solidarity visit to the state government house in akure the Ondo State capital.

Speaking during the visit, the representative of the community Victoria olayiwola said they embarked on the visit to call for government's intervention over imposement of a new king on the community.

Also, another person from the community who preferred anonymity revealed that the list sent by the kingmaker to the government has been doctored and the signature on it has been forged by another person.

However, Hon. oleyelogun said that the government will investigate the matter and punish the matter.
