I will succinctly let you understand the present calamity been faced by the student Union Government of the federal polytechnic ado is radically been caused by the alliance between faculties to be in pole of leadership.

I understand many students are putting the blame on the management for interfering into the student Union election which took place on thursday 31st of October, 2019 at the school premise which I will not side with, it's the duty of the management to actually monitor the level of activities within the student Union.

I will believe the protest embark upon by the student when the news of election been cancelled by the management due to irregularities which occur during the election, I will find the students Union government and self acclaimed students stakeholders to blame for this because the student Union has been the shadow of what student Union is.

The student executive is believed by the student to be operating in a puppet mode yielding to all request by the management and not having any capacity to stand or be the voice of the voiceless students that voted for them.

I will not forget how the student Union management handle the increase of tuition fee with no concrete but rather the fee was increase yet the union could not do anything even lately when some aspirant were disqualified due to some reason, the union president and members of the government couldn't address, this keeping quiet when things are going astray.

I could remember same scenario happened during leader 9ja regime which was properly handled.

This and cancellation of election made the student to voice and stage their anger against the management on Friday.

The stakeholders also have a share of this blame, the stakeholders set of outgoing HND 11 students who wants to install a particular aspirant so they can be given some regard whenever they visit the school premises. Due to their self interest they kill visible and objective aspirant, for goodness sake we are not operating two party system so why should we limit our aspirant to just two per post, they've forgotten its about the legacy and type of students experience that will be left behind.

I see no crime even if we have four aspirant for the post of President, you don't need me to vote for someone because his from my faculty or department but rather you vote for someone who is ready to be the voice of the voiceless.

Its time we need aspirant with good relationship and an optimal advocator and not aspirant that buy the loyalty of the stakeholders to their benefit.

Allowing aspirant to contesting not minding alliance will give room for better UNIONISM.

How do you explain a situation when students are been forced to vote for aspirant from their department or faculty with nothing to show for, I can't imagine the whole cabinet of the present administration is made of ENG/SOT both the executive and legislative that's very bad, on this you won't perform to expectation, no one will charge the other, because alliance will only provide us with availability not credibility.

I believe alliance as done more harm than Good to STUDENT UNIONISM at FEDPOLAD,

on this we need to put a stop to it,

we need to give room for available aspirant to make themselves credible enough to be voted for.

The management since the assumption of the rector, its as not been favourable to Nigeria students, he as been increasing fees with no second thought of the student who or whose parents are struggling to afford the current bail, all this pie together led to the annoyance of the student.

Even now rumors are circulating about the management proposed increment of acceptance from 26,000 to 40,000 it's only sadden our heart that our first indigenous rector, who is also the alumni president is doing this to his own students even at this yarning economy.

Worst of all, the school also lack proper enabling lecture environment yet the management keep proposing increment in tuition fees.

I must say this, the management as not handled the decision on Union well.

I believe those guilty of election manipulation should be punished, putting embargo on students union at this very time is not be best decision by the management rather they can setup a day for another election.

I believe the objective of companies now is not to make profit but to identify a problem within the society and find solution to them.

To the next executive, I believe you can sort out our challenges and find a better solution to them by doing this, our union will be great.
