The Valentine Ayika Ideology: Democracy in Good hands

One of the blessedness of democracy is in it's ability to identify the populace, relate with them and get timely feedback for assessment purposes.

In a developing country like ours, such relationship between the Government and governed has always been in jeopardy, as there is little or no linkage between the duo.

This has resulted to the failure of democracy and it's intending dividends. The lack of proximity has caused us retrogressive developments and the broken bridge of communication has destroyed our sense of belonging in the Government that is termed "for the people".

For democracy to thrive, there has to be a steady connection, communication and feedback from the citizens to the Government; as public discussions and opinion is the life wire of any Democratic setting.

Hon. Valentine Ayika had proven beyond doubts, that he is an icon of democracy.

The Lawmaker representing Dunokofia, Njikoka and Anaocha DNA Federal Constituency has always distinguished himself different from other "long stool" politicians, who we see only on the low level during the electioneering process.

Hon. Val Ayika De Peoples Choice DPC is known for his generosity, kindness, and quality representation of his people.

He is loved by all even at first sight; the students of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka are yet to recover from the kind gestures and generosity he showered on them at his last visit to the varsity during the Students Union Week.

His constituency, the Nigerian populace and the entire citizenry are greatful to God for endowing them with such a phenomenal representative.

He is the closest representative to his people, as he replies every chat directed to him from whichever social media platform, he attends to his phone calls from anyone in distress and he is just there for everybody; this is really commendable.

His relationship with the APC contestant Mr. Elijah Onyeagba amazed me; though they contested election together, but as brothers from the same Federal Constituency they have a remarkable cordial relationship. This might be rear in other political settings in the country but not for Hon. Val Ayika DPC.

He is truly the man of the people!
