Open letter to EFCC/ICPC chairman by Olufemi Ebenezer Obalola

OPEN LETER TO EFCC/ICPC CHAIRMAN  TO INVESTIGATE  INDUSTRIAL TRAINING FUND (ITF) AGENCY AND NIGERIAN  INSTITUTIONS.
Obalola

I bring you fraternal greetings sir, permit me to register my displeasure about the on-going corruption in the ITF AND NIGERIA INSTITUTIONS, Sir it may interest you to know that for a student of Nigeria who studied to the point of completing the SIWES/IT in any organization from any institution in Nigeria, such student is entitled to a certain amount of money, if I could recalled vividly the said amount is #10,000 It is called “Industrial Training Fund (ITF), it so pathetic that a lot of students who did their IT/SIWES are yet to get there pay even up till now.

For instance I did my SIWES in the year 2013 but it may interest you to know that 70% of my set was not payed up till now so also the subsequent set after us, even when President Muhammadu Buhari Is seriously striving to pull down every strong hold of corruption, permit me to make it clear that this pay is not a privilege but a right of every students that undergoes the scheme BUT a lot of these students  were deprived of there right and no one is talking about this unfortunate and corruption practice, I took it upon myself to write to you sir (Mr Magu) EFCC CHAIRMAN  to as a matter of urgency swing into action sir by investigating the relevant agencies  (ITF AND INSTITUTIONS INVOLVED ACROSS THE NATION).

Sir this will not be just an achievement on your part but it will make every Nigerians entrusted with public fund to be transparent in there dealing and make every meaningful Nigerian students/youth to have more confidence in the agency.

More so We the Nigerian youth have no doubt in your capacity and experience as you have prove to us in different instances of similar cases, of recent, yourself and your team members made a landmark achievement in retrieving back INEC adhoc staff Allowances in Zamfara State, we hope that such gesture and capacity will be seriously put in place in the said matter.

We urge the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to look into this starting from 20 years back till date . Some have completed their IT/SIWES for over 15 years without getting their allowance.

Mr Magu sir, of recent your agency had made landmark history and achievement in related corruption cases ranging from internet fraud, money laundering, diversion of public fund so we have this believe that this will not be an exceptional case, I believe that the earlier we start getting it right the best for a better NIGERIA.

I see a great Nigeria soon.
