October 7: Honour Of Eniafe Isaac Who Risked His Life To Save Others In The Burning Health Centre Fire in Ado Poly

_OCTOBER 7 2017 A DAY TO REMEMBER IN FPA

To many it has been forgotten but to the man who risked his life and destiny it remains fresh daily.

Just on a sunny day Cadet captain P.O Eniafe Issac heard the shout and actions of Nigerian students who fired up the then school Health centre claiming the life of one of their colleague was lost there.

Cadet captain P.O ENIAFE also a student heard this and as a paramillitary man and a lover of human at saving life , he looked at the school health centre flaming up to the sky, he organised some of his cadet officers and a rapid response rescue team to save people & prevent the school property from burning.

He personally went into the burning fire to check if no student or staff was left in the burning building and made sure none was left , with him was a estinguisher, he tried his best and put off alot of fire.

But at a particular time unknown to him that he was stepping on a petrol leakage CADET CAPTAIN P.O ENIAFE'S cloth caught fire and he strived to put it off but he could'nt, then he started running out from the room he was putting off fire, right before him were broken glass, harmful and hot steamed irons that has caught fire and falling roof lodging.

Now the man with the good heart is burning and could'nt get a rescue.

He strived to get outside and he did people were shocked and few could move close to him he said "i was already thinking of heaven" but faithful is the lord who has always been good, just in a miraculous way ENIAFE'S CLOTH STOPPED BURNING BUT IMMIDIATELY HE BECAME WEAK AND WEARY, HE COULD'NT MOVE NOR WALK, HE HAD NO OTHER OPTION THAN TO BE CARRIED TO THE CADET BARRACK BY HIS FELLOW OFFICERS.

CADET CAPTAIN ENIAFE COULD'NT WALK NEITHER CAN HE SPEAK, The school management got to know about this Humanitarian service, immidiately they took upon themselves his treatment and welfarism for that period CADET CAPTAIN P.O ENIAFE ISAAC was said to receive treatment for up to 2month, and amidst the 2month is a record of 2weeks he could'nt walk or move & remained at a spot but thank God for his mercies and his co cadet who helped in those time of trials

CADET CAPTAIN P.O ENIAFE DUE TO HIS ACTION TO RESCUE THAT DAY SUFFERED AND SUSTAINED A LIFE BURN ON HIS LEG THAT PEALED OFF, BUT THANK GOD ENIAFE IS SOUND AND GALLANT AGAIN TODAY.

IN VIEW OF THIS THE SCHOOL MANAGEMENT CALLED UP THE HERO TO BE COMPENSATED AND HE WAS BARGED THE HONOUR OF A LETTER OF COMMENDATION BY THE THEN SCHOOL REGISTRER ON BEHALF OF THE MANAGEMENT FOR HIS HUMANITARIAN SERVICE.

NOW THE QUESTION IS , ARE THERE STILL PEOPLE LIKE ENIAFE ?

ARE THERE STILL ENIAFE'S WHO CAN RISK THEIR LIFE TO SAVE OTHERS ?

CAN YOU BE AN ENIAFE ?

CAN THE NATION OR CAMPUS STILL HAVE THIS KIND OF VISIONARY LEADER ?
