Akeredolu, Amosun, Okorocha still under suspension - Lanre Isaa-Onilu
All Progressives Congress (APC), through its national publicity secretary, Lanre Isaa-Onilu, has affirmed Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, former governor Ibikunle Amosun and former governor Rochas Okorocha are still under suspension.
Some months ago, the party suspended them due to anti-party activities. The party had sent a query letter to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu through its National Vice Chairman for the South-West, Pastor Bankole Oluwajana.
APC said the governors' anti-party activities “greatly affected the fortunes of its candidates in the last presidential and National Assembly elections in the state.”
"The NWC has collated the list of all suspended members of the party across 36 States and F.C.T. The next National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting will handle everything.
We have resolved to recommend the outright expulsion of all of them from APC.", a member of the NWC said.
