REPORT OF TODAY'S PEACEFUL PROTEST OF FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC ADO EKITI STUDENTS CONCERNING THE COLLAPSE AND DAMAGE OF UREGE BRIDGE THAT COLLAPSE YESTERDAY NIGHT, VAM reports.
Ureje Bridge collapsedThe bridge linking Federal polytechnic ado ekiti and afe babalawo University to ekiti down went down yesterday night with a Toyota sienna bus.
Eye witness said three pupils were inside the bus during the damage of the bridge yesterday night in attempt of the three pupils to go out of the bus to the other side of the road they were swept away by flood two of them were rescued but unfortunately one was swept away by the flood and his body way found dead today the bridge is totally damaged as at this moment and stopping the movement of people between the two institutions and the town alone the road, VAM has obtained.
The president of federal polytechnic ado ekiti the person of com. alubarika pleaded to the current administration of etiki states through AIT press that the current administration should place and put the reconstruction of the bridge into quick consideration because it stop the movement of the student from town to the institution and this may affect the student academically, he said...
