SAYDEF awards scholarship to 87 students in Idanre/Ifedore Constituency
The honorable representing Idanre/Ifedore federal constituency have recently taken it upon himself to award scholarship to 87 students in his constituency in furtherance of the activities of 'Small Alhaji Youth Development Foundation' (SAYDEF), VAM reports.
Students received scholarship from Small Alhaji foundationVAM confirmed that the honorable has resolve to give educational lifeline to brilliant but indigent constituents has necessitated the accommodation of more awardees this year.
The gesture is in view of the reality of increasing poverty amongst the rural dwellers of Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency which has rendered many parents financially incapaciated to pay the school fees of their children and wards.
In strict compliance with my principle of rewarding merit, this year's beneficiaries have been carefully selected through a credible and merit based assessment test that was conducted for all students that participated in the Small Alhaji Free Summer Coaching.
