OYSCATECH logoThe Chairman, Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, Oyo State College of Agriculture, Igboora, Mr. Opadijo Olujide, together with his secretary and three other members of their executives were kidnapped yesterday night between Lanlate and Igboora, while returning from a meeting and also 3 male and a female student who happens to be a wife to one of the lecturer involve.
A report reaching VAM correspondent this evening has it that, the unfortunate and consistent kidnapping incidence taking place at Ibarapa area in the recent time has repeated itself.
VAM is yet to verify specific amount needed by the kidnapper in regards of a report that the kidnappers demanding 20m ransom.
VAM learnt that the Commissioner of police has led all special police formations like SARS, Anti Kidnapping Squad etc to Igboora since 6am today
Effort to reach the family members of the victim was abortive.
