Students of the Federal Polytechnic, ado-ekiti lamented the lingering scarcity of bus in the school and urged the Management to take urgent measures to resolve the crisis.

The scarcity of bus has forced many students to excruciatingly rely on tippers and the likes to get to their destinations, which is quite dangerous for students.

The students say failure to take urgent measures would result in threat their safety.

The students, who spoke to Inside Fedpolad, said that the lingering shortage of bus had become a clog in their movements to and fro the campus.

Inside Fedpolad reports that the lingering bus scarcity had adversely affected lectures and safety of the students.

A student, Farounbi Oluwabukunolami of the department of Science Technology, ND Year one told Inside Fedpolad that their movements from their respective homes to school had not only become stressful, but their safety looking for bus on desserted roads is also been threatened. She also claimed accidents occur frequently on the road leading to the campus.

“Yeah.....Shortage of School bus is actually the main challenge of the sch, going for practicals hasn't been easy with this whole bus shortage of a thing.

"Maybe the Sch management derives joy in seeing student suffering becos of transportation, it's disheartening to see students looking for ride on that lonely road not because they don't have transport fare but because no bus is available.

"The number of functioning buses the sch have is so ridiculous compared to the number of students in the sch.

"The roads to Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti is another thing entirely, accident occur frequently and students get injured," she added.

Another student, pleaded to the school Management to come to their aid. He lamented injuries, properties lost and most importantly missed lectures that the students witness. He concluded by admonishing the school authority to swing into action by righting the wrongs.

"Honestly school authority must come to our aid and help us out, i can't imagine how someone will have TF and still treak from main campus to poly junction, it has deteriorated to the extent that some Students didn't see the distance from main campus to falegan as big deal, school has more than 3 buses but they lack maintenance.

"Students pay money on a daily basis yet no change in the transportation, you struggle to que to enter bus and get injury, lost of properties while struggling to enter, get to school late and still mis leacture, we beseech the school authority to switch into action that will bring transmogrification," he submitted.

Another student, who spoke under condition of anonymity, however, was reserved with his comments. He allays fear the management could come for him.

"If I should drop any message here Who knows the management might expel me, but am begging them to do the needful.

"Mind you there are two things involved bad transportation from the management and very extremely poor road from the state government.

"It's obvious that FPA managements don't consult the students before taking any actions and FPA without students is like a body without life

Once again let the managements do the needful," he said.
