GUN MEN ATTACKS POLYTECHNIC STUDENT, MADE WAY WITH HIS BELONGINGS

It was like a drama on Sunday as three armed men attacked a returning student of the Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti on his way home.

The student who identified himself as Felix a National Diploma Graduate In the Department of Electrical Electronics also an applicant for Higher National Diploma, said the armed men about three  busted him and ordered him(felix) to kneel down after they collected his phone and the #1,300 he had on him.

He said, 

"I was standing close to Oyebam hotel when they(Armed men) about three on bike attacked me, They were two on the bike while the other one who attacked me ordered me to go on my kneels within a second,  I saw a gun pointed towards me. They forcefully collected my phone and all the money I had on me".

Asking if the returning student was Able to recognize any of the gang, he said ; " I cant recognize any of them, immediately they left I ran to a nearby hostel and raised the alarm but they(the armed men) already fled the scene of crime'.

Mr Felix confirmed to inside Fedpolad media that his phone Infinix X3x and the sum of #1,300 was lost to the attack.

He(Felix) also affirmed that he's a returning student of the polytechnic and he came for his Admission registration when he was attacked.

The polytechnic students have been facing insecurity challenges since the first quarter of the year(2019) as about three related robbery cases have been reported in the past few months.
