Ondo State Government Partners MAX OKADA, Launches Sunshine Safe Bike

Ondo state government, under the leadership of Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, in the bid to make transportation fast and convenient for the people, went into partnership with MAX OkADA, a motorcycle-taxi operators who has proven worthy over the years for upholding safety and providing accessible and affordable motorcycle service to road pliers.

According to the state governor who took his twitter handle to announce the arrival of the SunshineSafeBike, said the state agreed to partner with Max Okada when they extended their arms of partnership on the ground that they brand their service “SUNSHINESAFEBIKE”.

Akeredolu said his government has offered the team the Gani Fawehinmi Arcade free of charge  to train Bikers on Bike safety as incentive. He also said that they are currently working with the state Innovation Hub so as to be intimated on growing developer ecosystem.

The governor responding to a tweet, on how ready and organized Ondo State is to accommodate Max Okada, who they believed does not operate on unorganized Amora and Accomoran?  said “Acomoran is very well organized in Ondo State, that the state registration system through the State Information Technology Agency, SITA, all Riders must be registered in Ondo State and that levies have been streamlined since 2018. He made it clear that the conducive environment was the biggest attraction to Max Okada in Ondo State.

This initiative is expected to create job opportunities for the teeming youths as well as make transportation convenient for Ondo State citizenry
