Just in: keke Napep riders blocked Damaturu main road

The incident came as a result of frequent clashes between the Nigerian Police and the tricycle riders on plate number issues that lasted for months in the Yobe state capital, VAM News reports.

This morning 17th July 2019, the riders stormed Damaturu main road for a peaceful riot against what they called "maltreatment" from the police who aren't responsible for that.

Consequently, the riot form to skirmish as the riders set some motor tyres ablaze.
