Suspended CJN: Tibunal Picks Date To Deliver Judgement On Onnoghen’s Case
The Code of Conduct Tribunal has picked Thursday, April 18th, 2019 to deliver judgement on the case between the Federal Government and suspended Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Onnoghen reports witness by VAM News.
Justice Walter OnnoghenThe announcement was made by the chairman of the tribunal, Justice Danladi Umar today, Monday, April 15th.
Umar added that the tribunal will also give rulings on two applications by Justice Onnoghen.
The applications are: first, the jurisdiction of the tribunal to try the suspended CJN while the second was asking the Umar to withdraw himself from the case.
Onnoghen is standing trial over non declaration of asset leveled against him by the federal government.
