Messi Gets A Broken Nose with Victory as Ronaldo secured an away goal for Juventus
Just some minutes into the game, Lionel Messi gets a bloody nose and eye after a collision with Smalling in Man Utd vs Barcelona.
The incident happened when Smalling rushed towards Messi to get the ball before him but his arm smashed Messi face resulting in broken nose and swollen eye.
Messi spent some time on the ground, blood rushing from his face as medics came on to offer their assistance in a Barcelona 0-1 Victory against Manchester United.
Ajax vs Juventus
Cristiano Ronaldo secured an away goal for Juventus as they drew 1-1 in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Ajax.
Ronaldo, who has won the competition five times, netted his 125th Champions League goal just before half-time with a diving header following Joao Cancelo's cross.
The goal had come against the run of play, but the hosts equalised within a minute of the second half starting, through David Neres' fine curling effort from 15 yards.
The winners of the tie face either Tottenham or Manchester City in the semi-finals, with Mauricio Pochettino's side holding a 1-0 advantage after Tuesday's first leg in London.
