APP Pledges Not to participate in Ebonyi Councillorship bye election
Our Chapter of Action People's Party(APP), Ebonyi state has seen it noteworthy to address teeming members of the party and public that we shall not participate in the scheduled councillorship Bye Election by the Ebonyi state independent Electoral Commission (EBSIEC) in Abakpa ward and a ward in Afikpo south LGA in Ebonyi state because the circulated specifications for the very election to our understanding is not in consonance with the constitution of the federal Republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended.
VAM News reports in a statement issued by the APP party said the Bye election with every indices seems to be concluded and victory narrowed and our Party cannot afford to invest in such an organized scrupulous black market.
Worthy to note,Our Party is a party of democrats,centrists and progressives and in her character can't be a destabilizing factor to the country's nascent democracy. It is very clear that it is a waste of gun powder firing the moon.
Action People's Party(APP) in Ebonyi state will remain supportive to the positive polices and programs of the state government and shall not keep mute in agitating the best kind of governance for Ndi-Ebonyi.

Action Peoples Party(APP), Engr Chinedum Elekwachi therefore call on EBSIEC to immediately review it laws and possibly seek for an amendment so that the sleeping dog can lye calmly.
