Akeredolu Donates New Bus To Sunshine Stars football club

Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN,  has donated  the newly acquired 33 seaters Innoson   bus to the Sunshine Stars a reports obtained by VAM news. 

Akeredolu made good his promise of improved journey comfort for players and officials of Sunshine Stars with the acquisition of a brand new Innoson 33 seater bus last week.

The Commissioner for Sports, Saka Ogunleye alongside Ondo State Football Agency (ODSFA) Chairman,  Otunba Tajudeen Akinyemi, Director of Sunshine Stars, Prince Tunde Ogunja, Permanent Secretary Sports Ministry, Dr. (Mrs) Dupe Eshofonie and ODSFA's Scribe, Mr O.S Akingbasote handed over the vehicle to the Governor for official presentation at the Governor's Office, Alagbaka,  Akure, on Thursday, 4th April, 2019.

In his speech Akeredolu maintained that it was pleasing to the Government to always provide for Sunshine Stars, and expressed believe that the team would be all conquering with more motivation and the right team spirit.

Akeredolu stated: _"I remember you (ODSFA) mounted sufficient pressure on the government to get a bus, now the vehicle is here. You have done well with the resources given to you._

_"You won your last game at home; we have to  thank the players and  the coach. With more motivation and the right  team spirit you can conquer anywhere.

In his remarks Otunba Akinyemi again expressed gratitude to the Akeredolu led- administration for having the Club and ODSFA interest at heart. 

Also during  the presentation were ODSFA board member, Mr Ayo Adewunmi, Team Manager, Sunshine Stars Mr. Tokunbo Akinyekure and Club Secretary, Mr Kayode Oluwole.
