Nigeria is a country with a lot of mineral resources and yet the rate of poverty and suffering these days is becoming alarming and everyone particularly the young ladies needs to buckle up. Early marriage and over population is part of the major causes of poverty.

Imagine a man with #5000 monthly income having seven(7) children and two wives.

How will such man take responsibility of the family? and if care is not taken such children will become a menace to the society.

In this article I will focus on young ladies and women because Impatience and rushiness has make many young ladies, woman victims of domestic violence, poverty etc.

Why praying for your future husband to be rich? when you can be the richest in the world!

Why hoping to be the first lady, when you can actually be the governor or president.

Why praying to be the wife of a commissioner when you can be a minister.

Is your dream just to get married and start rearing children? When you can be a chief medical director giving advice on natality.

Be informed, Gone are those days when a woman will tie herself to a man saying "you must give me money" because most men these days are not ready to accept their responsibility. So, stop hoping to be a queen when you can be a king and rule your own empire.

A woman who is self dependent do not need to worry about her future husband Being rich or not. Even in this country, Nigeria there a lot of rich millionaires wives that are still suffering and still lack some basic needs.

Do you need to dream of marrying dangote son,when you and dangote can dine as both richest!

There's nothing wrong in praying for your future husband to be rich but the question is "Are you waiting for a man that will liberate your life?" when you can liberate the whole world.

There a lot of lecturers with masters degree, PhD! In fact, the immediate past rector of the Federal polytechnic Ado Ekiti is a woman. Hillary Clinton is a woman, senator Biodun Olujimi of Ekiti is a woman. Do you know you can even be better than the above names? But how can you be like the successful women or even better than them, when all you know is to just get out of school, get married and start rearing children. Remember your parents gave birth to you also hoping to eat the fruit of their labour.

Patience is the panacea to many problems, that man telling you that you are the best and buying all types of gifts for you and still saying you are the best is only deceiving you, he only tells you that just to get what he wants. No one is the best except God so learn how to be independent as woman. If you achieve your goals and become successful in life, a rich man will just be an additional factor for you. So pursue your career first and don't be intimidated.

Why depending on a man for a living when you can actually be a source of living for thousands of men. If you are a student, then get yourself engaged with what you love doing with your talent and potency, it will surely be a success. Develop yourself now!

Practice entrepreneurship or any vocational skills that will be generating income for you. Gone are those days when all Men accepts their responsibilities. So chase your career first and also commit your activities unto God's hands, with that Success will actually end your story!

So, don't rate yourself down nor look down on yourself what a man can do a woman can do better. Change that your mentality, thinking about getting married and rearing children only won't sustain you. You need to lay down a good foundation for your own generation, remember As You Lay Your Bed, So You Lie On It! You are the architect of your own fortune. Don't wait for any man to come and liberate your family. Work hard, be determined even if you fail you will surely rise again.
