After so much public commentary, accusations and counter accusations among Nigerians especially before and after 2008,  including BokoHaram, Niger Delta militia, IPOB and shackles of political upheavals all engineered by politics, Many writers and public commentators tried in finding out what the problem actually is, and hence provides some solutions to the nepotism and ethnical hatred.

In my findings towards the problem of the country, I have this to say :

Nigeria is not the only country colonised in the world, and isn't the only country with many natives, but Nigeria is the only country that always linked its peaceful coexistence to the diversity and ethnic hatred.

The history of politics and political parties in Nigeria witness a concrete foundation with blocks of nepotism and ethnicity and that is put some negative influences on the natives from the Colonial era up to date.

Sir Herbert Machauley Samoel Akintola, Sir Ahmadu Bello and Dr Nnamdi Azimwe's politics as pioneer nationalists and politicians have yielded "anti unity" ideological orientations based on "only my people are superior" by forming ethnic groups as political parties.

_Local Government_
The regional government and regional civil service of the Colonial and post Colonial era created unfilled vacuum that may take some centuries to be ridden off. The public services is based on favored few, anyone is looking forward to his people not the nation and everyone is advocating for Nigeria "unity". Anyone among the nationalists is brainwashing his people that the others are nothing and they are enemies, and enemies they are. The West brainwashed as educated than North, larger north brainwashed as the strongest and most populous. 2018 as such each and everyone takes the others as enemies even though they belong to Nigeria.

_Military_
Military as a means of protecting the country was for long oriented "pro-north". The establishment of the army is through several stages of "north" frontier. Derived from the history of Nigerian Army through the 15 January 1966, the counter coup, the great civil war and its unskilled recruitment, and the coups that followed is a clear vision of the foundation Nigeria established on.

Nigeria may not have been divided internally if the nationalists unite the minor and major ethnic groups and set foundation for a single country despite the environmental diversities. The country wouldn't have been raped and raped again through war and economic crisis if the natives were first oriented to be one.

Finally, a great African theorist and Nigerian nationalist Mallam Aminu Kano once said, and I quote:
"Nigeria is one, but everyone knows his father's house". Meaning we belong to single Nigeria but everyone knows his region, his religion and his tribe.

This is just an introduction but you may need to read the following books.

1. Nigeria since independence (1,2,3,4) Sam C Ukpabi.
2. My life, and I Sardauna of Sokoto.
3. Military leadership in Nigeria 1966-1979.
4. Africa and the wider world.
