Building Collapse: Lagos to Foot Hospital Bill of Victims- Governor Ambode

_Buhari sympathizes with families of victims 

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sympathy for the families of victims of the collapsed building housing a school in Itafaaji area of Lagos, which left fatalities.

President Buhari in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Chief Femi Adesina in Abuja on Wednesday, said that he was saddened by the catastrophe that claimed many lives especially small children. The President in the statement charged the Lagos State government to do all that was needful, to avoid future recurrence of such tragic developments. While sympathizing with the parents and relations of the deceased and wishing them God’s comfort, he wished the injured speedy and complete recovery. 

President Buhari also commiserated with the government and good people of Lagos State, and pledged assistance of the Federal Government as may be required by the state. He said, “It touches one to lose precious lives in any kind of mishap, particularly those so young and tender. May God grant everyone affected by this sad incident fortitude and succour.”
