Asian Cup: Angry UAE Fans Throw Shoes At Celebrating Qatar Players

United Arab Emirates fans expressed their frustration at celebrating Qatar players during their Asian Cup semi-final clash in Abu Dhabi.

2022 World Cup Hosts Qatar reached their first Asian Cup final by thrashing UAE 4-0 at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Stadium.

UAE fans got frustrated as Qatari players were celebrating in front of them and they decided to take action by throwing shoes at the opposing player.

Officials tried to stop UAE fans from launching their footwear at goalscorer Almoez Ali and his team-mates following Qatar's 37th minute goal in a reports gathered by VoiceAirMedia.

However, their call for the shoe-throwing to stop came to no avail as several supporters decided to launch their sandals onto the pitch.
