TUITION FEES UPDATE

After several meetings concerning the increment of the fresher's tuition fees, the managment made it known to the students' Union executives that the proposed fee was #90,000 which was later reduced to #50,000 that was pasted on last week Tuesday. in respect to this the executives met with the school management on 10th December, 2018 in which the meeting was inconclusive because the management was expecting to hold a meeting with Students' Union and the National Association of Nigeria Students' (NANS) representatives. The meeting was stated to hold by 10a.m today, which includes the NANS, Students' Union executives, the four schools executives and Departmental Presidents, Press Club.

N:B: The management explained why the fees was increased which include Electricity, Hostel facilities, modernized Health Center, construction of road from school to eed Centre at Ijan, broaden Internet facilities.

The Student Leaders proposed a sum of #31,500 and #30,500 as the new tuition fees, which the management disagreed and insisted on #50,000.

The Student Union executives, NANS representatives disagreed and insisted on the Stated price (#31,500).

The Students' Union gave the management 30mins recess to deliberate on the stated price and resuming from the recess, the management gave us a price tag of #45,000 for fresher's and #34,500 for the stalites, in which students representatives disagreed totally that the stalites fees remain #16,500 and freshers to be #35,000. The management said the least they can go for freshers is #45,000 (science) and #42,000 (non science). The Executives took another recess hoping to meet with the management for #42,000 (science) and #40,000 (non science) but the management also disagreed.

This is where the management, the students leaders and the NANS representatives reach an agreement of paying  #45,000 (science) and #42,000 (non science).

The school Generator will be put on from 5- 7am and 7-11pm

Early collection of Identification Card

Renovation of School Hostels

Construction of roads linking school to CEVDS (Ijan)

Broaden Internet Facilities

A visible proposed Modernized Health Center

The meeting came to an End at 5pm.
