Just In: Cult Clash Claims Five Lives In Ekiti

Five persons were said to have been reportedly killed as two rival cult groups clashed in Ikere, headquarters of Ikere Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

A source under the condition of anonymity said five members belonging to either group have been seen killed during the clash.

Several other persons sustained various degrees of injuries in the said clash.

Police react

Police Public Relations Officer ASP Sunday Abutu who confirmed the incident said one person has been arrested while officers are on the trail of others.
