Herdsmen attacks: Some Nigerian Women Threaten to Protest Naked Across the region

Ndinne Igbo, an all-women socio-cultural organization, has threatened its members would march naked across Igboland to protest killings by herdsmen in the region if the situation is not addressed immediately by the relevant authorities.

 The southeast has been plagued with coordinated killer herdsmen attacks in the last few weeks, resulting in the death of hundreds of people.

 The group condemned the recent herdsmen attack in Enugu and Ebonyi states by herders, lamenting that many Igbo children have become victims of the deadly attacks. 

 The group in a statement signed by its resident, Mrs. Beatrice Chukwubuike, on Saturday, April 3 and sighted by VAM News, called on Nigeria and Igbo leaders to arrest the terrible situation before it degenerates into anarchy.
