Drama As Nigerian Governor, Ganduje Rides Power Bike in ‘Agbada’

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state's appearance on power bike in 'Agbada' has stirred controversy on social media.

 

 VAM News reports that the governor reminded Nigerians of the days of ex-governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti state.

Fayose, during his days in power, was known for different theatrics that generated reactions on social media. 

Governor Ganduje's riding of the motorbike is, however, for a different purpose, unlike Fayose's. 

He rode on one of the bikes when he inaugurated bikes procured by the Kano Road Traffic Agency (KAROTA) to control traffic.

 While inaugurating them on Sunday, April 18, Ganduje said they would be used to ensure that road users comply with traffic regulations. 

He said the bikes would enable KAROTA personnel to move quickly to monitor traffic, trace violators and go around the city to fish out those smuggling illicit and substandard goods into the state.
