Deaths Averted As Truck Rams Into Market In Osun Community

Several people trading at the popular Oja-Oba Market, near Akirun of Ikirun palace, Ikirun local government area of Osun state, narrowly escaped death on Friday, when a Tipper truck knockdown to a closed shop where there is nobody in order to stop after a break failure.

It was gathered that the incident, which occurred around 10.45 am amid Market traders left parts of the shop building destroyed.

An eyewitness while speaking with VAM News, said no live was lost during the accident.

When our correspondent visited the venue of the incident, we discovered that the Tipper hit a Toyota Camry and it got damaged.

Another trader who spoke to VAM News said, "the accident might have been worse than that but thank God for the professionalism applied by the driver.

"As the driver noticed that the Tipper break has failed, he started shouting break failure so that the market should ran for their lives and not to be smaschi by the Tipper", eyewitness said.
