Aisha Buhari: Finally, President Buhari Opens up on True Identity of Nigeria's First Lady

The president said Aisha Buhari is a woman who delights to help the under-privileged.

President Muhammadu Buhari has given not just Nigerians, but the world in general a lot of insight into the true nature of his wife, Aisha Buhari.

The revelation came on the heel of the first lady's book launch which took place recently, The Cable reports.

Nigeria's leader in the forward to Aisha's new book disclosed that his wife being the kind-hearted person she is, naturally has an inkling to help to see to the needs of people, especially women and children in the country.

Buhari also mentioned that her interest in social issues that affect these categories of Nigerians, irrespective of ethnic distinctions, fascinates him.

The president noted that Aisha has been able to actualise her philanthropic dreams through the Future Assured programme which targets to benefit the sick, under-privileged people, especially IDPs. On a conclusive note, Buhari said her undying efforts reach out to fellow citizens stress the federal government's vision to lift Nigerians from poverty.
