Our Plan is to Transform Nigeria into an Industrialized Nation, Buhari speaks

In what will gladden the heart of many Nigerians, President Buhari has promised to utilise the enormous gas resources in the country to uplift the economy and drive industrialization.

The president said this in Abuja on Monday, March 29, while launching “The Decade of Gas in Nigeria".

<>According to him, gas has the enormous potential to diversify Nigeria’s economy and his administration is ready to seize the opportunity to grow, Premium Times reports.

Going further, the president revealed that his administration has recorded remarkable progress gas development.

He added that his administration reviewed and gazetted policies and regulations to enhance operations in the sector.

He added that:

‘‘Our major objective for the gas sector is to transform Nigeria into an industrialized nation with gas playing a major role and we demonstrated this through enhanced accelerated gas revolution.’’
