Boko Haram: Insurgents Strike Again, Send 2 Cameroonian Troops Deployed To Nigeria To An Early Grave
No fewer than two Cameroonian soldiers were killed in a 40-minute gunfight with Boko Haram terrorists on Saturday, March 20, in northeastern Borno state.
According to a report by Daily Trust, citing Nigerian military sources on Sunday, March 21, said that the insurgents attacked the soldiers outside the town of Wulgo, a known Boko Haram hideout.
The Cameroonian troops were deployed to Nigeria from across the border to assist following an attack launched by the insurgents.
Three other Cameroonian soldiers and one Nigerian soldier were also injured in the fight.
Despite the fact that the troops encountered heavy fleets of terrorists, several insurgents were neutralised while an armoured vehicle belonging to the army and two Boko Haram trucks were destroyed.
