Another Big Fish, Former Presidential Candidate Joins APC Ahead Of 2023 Elections
A report by Daily Trust indicates that Alhaji Mohammed Shittu, a former presidential candidate has officially joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Shittu contested for the country's highest office on the platform of the defunct Advanced People’s Democratic Alliance (APDA).
The former national chairman of APDA took part in the nationwide exercise at his Gwagwa Ward in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja, to demonstrate his loyalty to the party.
Shittu, speaking to journalists also advocated for a two-party system in Nigeria, saying if adopted, it would help build a stronger democracy and boost the nation’s socio-economic life.
He stated that APC brought the agenda for change, adding that now is the time for forces that want Nigeria to grow to come together.
