Shepherds’ Crisis: Forgive Me – Says Sunday Igboho, Reveals Why He ATTACKED Ooni of Ife [VIDEO]
Hours after attacking the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the popular Yoruba freedom fighter, Sunday Adeyemo, pleaded with the main Yoruba monarch to forgive.
It was reported earlier that Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, in a virtual meeting accused the Ooni of betraying the Yoruba race, claiming he visited President Muhammadu Buhari to collect dollars.
On Sunday, Igboho, who threatened to free the Yoruba breed from the killer Peul shepherds, came under heavy criticism on Wednesday for calling Oba Ogunwusi a non-printable name.
In a video Wednesday night, Sunday Igboho said he spoke with the monarch on the phone and asked for his forgiveness.
“I called our father, Ooni Ife, and apologized to him. When I said these things, I was carried away by my emotions. The murder of my people by Fulani shepherds and the way our fathers in Yoruba land deal with the problem are of great concern to me.
“I am a Yoruba man and I know that it is not in our culture to insult the elders. I called the Kabiyesi and apologized to them. You can call him to confirm.
“Once again, I want to beg our royal father to forgive me. It was a bit of a tongue, ”said Sunday Igboho.
