Tears As Eunice Apeke, Osun Student Dies After Finalists’ Party
Eunice Apeke, a 30-year-old lady finalist student of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has reportedly died after attending finalists’ party.
It was gathered that the late student wrote her final examination of Higher National Diploma, in the department of Micro-Biology of the institution on Tuesday.
According to report obtained by VAM News' correspondent, Apeke and her course mates organized the finalists’ party in one of the off campus hotel in Boripe local government area of Osun State.
She said they were all happy after their last paper as other students celebrated with them.
She further said that they later went to hotel to celebrate themselves, adding that during the party there was no sign or trace of weakness before Apeke died.
“We were all together since we started the party which end around 9pm but there was no motor cycle that can take us back to Iree that was why we have to stay in hotel till next day.
“Surprisingly around 12am one of course mate came to us to tell us that the late student was unconscious . We took her to almost five hospitals to save her life but they rejected her due to her critical stage of health.
“She was a sickle cell doubled as an asthmatic patient” she said.
