Tinubu returns to Nigeria amid unease in S/W states over vacation notice to Fulani
Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, is back to Nigeria.
The Jagaban, as fondly called, returned to Lagos, the nation’s capital, on Sunday.
Tinubu is the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He was away in London for some weeks “on vacation”, according to his camp.
Tinubu has not made a comment on the tension in Ondo and Oyo.
There is unease in the South-West states over vacation notices to Fulani herdsmen.
Earlier, Newsmen reported that a northern group, Northern Patriots Assembly (NPA) has called on the Police to arrest Tinubu and Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu over vacation order issued to the Fulani herdsmen in the southwest.
NPA’s Chairman, Board of Trustees, Alhaji Salihu Mohammed, said Tinubu should be in police custody, noting that the threats, suspense and heating of the polity are his handiwork.
According to Mohammed, Tinubu’s aim is to make the country ungovernable knowing fully well that his presidential ambition can no longer be realised.
He noted that this is not the first time the All Progressives Congress chieftain’s subversive activities have come to the fore as he was alleged to behind the EndSARS.
The group, however, called on the IG to arrest Tinubu and all his cohorts involved in this sacrilegious act against the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
