The Risen Hope Initiative Set To Educate Kwara Students On 'Career Path'

 



The RISEN HOPE Initiative Kwara State chapter is set to sensitize students in the final classes (JSS3 & SS3) on 'Career Path '. It's imperative for us to know that most of the students in today's world most especially those in secondary schools lack knowledge on Career.

Majority of the students in final classes do copy their colleagues when it is time to fill a form be it WAEC or other external form which a career is required to be filled in other for them to further their education and become something great in future. It's on this note the RISEN HOPE Initiative set up a team to strategies ways these students can be enlighten more about career, ways to select a career and other necessary things which will definitely be of help to them in their future endeavors. 

The programme will take place in 30 selected Private and Public schools in Kwara State. At first the programme will be launched in some Local Government Areas in the state while other places  will be touched subsequently mainly because of the available resources at hand. 

Little introduction about the formation of the Initiative. 

The idea to create this initiative (The RISEN HOPE) came into existence two years ago, Precisely 6th September 2019, with the aim to address the sustainable development goals most especially Goal 1, 2 & 4. (No Poverty, Zero Hunger and Quality Education). Looking at the present state of the country the rate of unemployment, poverty level and inequality Facing disadvantage people is enormous. 

However, We figure this as big concern which we aim to contribute to the society in our own little ways to address these challenges.

Conclusively, we urge the entire public to assist us in achieving this goal  by building on our doings,  which is to enlighten our wards more on Career, ways of choosing a life Career, the negativity of choosing a wrong career and other necessary steps in other to make our society work for all and a better place to live.
