FUTO Announces Resumption Dates
The Management of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri has announced resumption dates for continuation of the 2019/2020 academic session.
The information was contained in a circular dated January 11, 2021 and signed by the Registrar of the institution, John U. Nnabuihe.
According to the circular, students in years three, four and five are to return to campus on Sunday, January 24, 2021 and resume lectures the next day.
Years one and two students are expected on campus four weeks after.
"Years three(III) four (IV) and five (V) students will come into residence on Sunday, January 24, 2021 and resume lectures on Monday, January 25, 2021", the circular reads in part.
"Years one (I) and two (II) will return to campus on Sunday, February 22, 2021 and resume lectures on Monday, February 22, 2021", it added.
Consequently, students are also to note that examination for the Harmattan semester for respective groups will commence two weeks after resumption.
