Ban On Illegal Herdsmen: I Stand With Akeredolu - Ondo Rep Member, Adefisoye



Member representing Idanre/Ifedore Federal Constituency, Honourable Tajudeen Adefisoye (Small Alhaji) has thrown his weight behind the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu over his decision to ban illegal herdsmen from operating in the state. 


Honourable Adefisoye in a series of tweet on his official Twitter handle stated that the security of lives and properties of Ondo state citizens and residents is not negotiable, urging the people of the state to support the Governor in his effort to eradicate the menace of incessant killings and kidnappings in the sunshine state. 


VAM News had earlier reported that Governor Akeredolu on Monday issued a 7-day ultimatum to herdsmen to vacate all forest reserves in the State. The order, which was issued as a means to put an end to several cases of kidnapping and assassination allegedly carried out by herdsmen also banned Night-grazing.




It was learnt that the Governor also banned the movement of cattle within cities and highways, under-aged grazing of cattle is also outlawed while security agencies have been directed to enforce the ban.
