BREAKING: NYSC Postpones 2020 Batch B Stream II Orientation Exercise

Management of the National Your Service Corp (NYSC) has shifted the commencement date for the 2020 Batch B Stream II Orientation exercise. The exercise earlier scheduled to commence on 5th January 2021 has been rescheduled to start on January 18, 2021.

This was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the management and posted on the Scheme's social media platforms. 

According to the release, management arrived at the decision to postpone the orientation course after a discussion with the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC). 

 The statement further advised all concerned to always stay in touch with the Scheme's social media platforms, as well as the traditional media for updated on the forthcoming orientation programme. 

While expressing the Director-General's hope to welcome the PCMs aboard the ship of nation building, the statement urged them to continue to observe faithfully the COVID-19 safety protocols as issues by the federal government from time to time, emphasising that PCMs and camp officials will undergo COVID-19 test and only those with negative results will be admitted to camps.
