Lawmaker, Akingbaso Becomes Minority Leader Of Ondo Assembly, Monarch reacts

The Member of Ondo State House of Assembly, representing Idanre Local Government, Hon. Festus Olarewaju Akingbaso FessyWest had recently been appointed the Minority Leader of the House.

This was as a result of minor shake up in the House of Assembly which saw the former Deputy Speaker, Hon. Iroju Ogundeji, from Odigbo Constituency 2 being impeached by twenty members of the house while Hon. Aderoboye took his mantle.

Hon. Festus Olarewaju Akingbaso,(PDP) who is a grassroot politician, notable philanthropist and international businessman displaced former Minority leader Hon. Tomide Akinribido.

It will be recalled that Hon. Akingbaso is currently the Chairman of the House Committee on Regional Planning and Urban Development and also the Vice Chairman of the House on Public Accounts as well as Vice Chairman of the House on Petroleum.

Meanwhile, many people from political divides in Idanre had been congratulating him on the development. Mr. Abiola Akinsowon expressed happiness at the development and wished him more progress and elevation in his political career.

Mrs Tolu Akinsuyi congratulated him on the development.

Akingbaso's being the Chairman of the House Committee on Regional Planning & Urban Development as well as Vice Chairman of Petroleum and also Public Accounts testify to his being s great asset in the House and for the entire Makanre race who he represents.
