Police arrest suspected killers of Kano physiotherapist

The Kano State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of two suspects over last Thursday killing of a physiotherapist, Atiku Shuaibu-Ringim, in Kano State

Shuaibu-Ringim, a worker of the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, was said to have been attacked when he visited a friend in the Red Bricks area, along Gwarzo Road, Gwale Local Government Area of the state.

The spokesperson for the Kano police command, DSP Abdullahi Haruna, who confirmed the arrest, said the hoodlums killed Shuaibu-Ringim while trying to snatch his mobile phone.

Haruna said, “We have arrested two suspects who are currently in our custody helping us with useful information.”

Meanwhile, the corpse of the deceased had since been buried in accordance with Islamic rites in his hometown, Ringim, the headquarters of Ringim Local Government Area of Jigawa State.
