JUST IN: Tension in Ondo as 'thugs' lay siege to State Assembly

The Ondo state house of assembly was on Monday morning invaded by suspected Political thugs causing tension across the state capital.
The suspected thugs reportedly laid seige to the assembly complex as early as 7:30 am, VOICE AIR MEDIA learnt that the the action was caused as a result to prevent the nine suspended lawmakers that the court quashed their suspension last week from resuming.
Recall Nine lawmakers were suspended by the Assembly for refusing to sign the impeachment notice served on the deputy governor, Agboola Ajayi.
It was gathered that the thugs manned the main gate of the Assembly complex with their vehicles parked along the road leading to the complex.
VOICE AIR MEDIA understands that police detectives have prevented the thugs from entering into the complex as they mounted barricades at the entrance of the complex.
