Morals Of Politics
A little about his political vouyage as he enjoins potential leaders to learn the art of service.
In his statement, “I have come to realize that in politics, we need to serve before we can think of leading.”
“Politics can be very funny, but life is sure a slow and steady race for whomsoever that hope to go far. I have come to realize that in politics, we need to serve before we can think of leading. We also need to be consciously steadfast even after paying our price in politics."
My story will better explain this analogy.
After losing the APC ticket for Ondo State House of Assembly in 2015, I decided to join the campaign train of Senator Tayo Alasoadura. It must be stated that my decision to join the camp of Alash was informed by the fact that I was betrayed by the group that I initially belonged.
It may also interest that I was appointed the Campaign Director General for both Senator Alasoadura and Hon. Badewinwa upon joining the Alash camp. We actually worked tirelessly afterwards and we achieved victories in the senatorial and the federal constituency elections in spite of the fact that Dr Olusegun Mimiko was then an incumbent governor of the state.
In addition, some people can also bear me witness on how PDP thugs planned to set INEC office ablaze at Owena, But I still resisted them and ensured that our candidates were eventually declared as winners.
However, my expectation to get appointed on a platter of gold was dashed. I had to resort to lobbying and even prayed hard before I was eventually appointed as Legislative Aide 2. But moral of this experience was not lost on me that nothing is automatic in politics and we must have to serve before we could lead.
The Game is the Game. This is just a short Story, MHR said.”
The host, Tunde Olorungbotemi also observed that, Hon. Adefisoye is not only a role model to other younger generation of Nigerians, he is a proof that with dedication, hard work, and strategic thinking, Nigerian youths can win elections into the top political offices in the country.

Hon. Tajudeen Adefisoye, a member of House of Representatives representing Idanre / Ifedore Federal Constituency has condemned in very strong terms the politically motivated killings that took place in Idanre township in recent time.
In a press statement released through his Senior Legislative Aide, Richard Adeyemi, the Federal lawmaker said Idanre is a town known for security, peace and peaceful coexistence amongst the people; and this culture of politically motivated killings and maiming should not be allowed to get eroded beyond control.
He said It will be noted that SDP withdrew from the recently conducted local government election in a bid to avert further political violence in Idanre. This was indeed a sacrifice because nothing can ever be too much to let go in the interest of peace and unity.
He reiterated that it is very critical now as a matter of urgency that the traditional rulers, community leaders, religious leaders, political leaders as well business leaders within Idanre should sue for peace and also take decisive steps that will help to avert further violence in the town.
Adefisoye avers that ‘do or die’ brand of politics should be discouraged in Idanre town while the sanctity of human lives and properties be respected.
Honourable Adefisoye concluded his press statement by charging Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and the security agents in Ondo State to ensure that security of lives and properties are guaranteed in Idanre; while those behind the recent killings are speedily brought to justice.
