Ondo PDP congress: Fatai Adams emerges Chairman

The peoples Democratic party(PDP), Ondo state has elected its state executive council at a Congress held at At a state Congress held at Solton Hotel in Akure on Tuesday, VOICE AIR MEDIA has received.










A former member of the Ondo state House of Assembly, Hon Fatai Adams has won the seat as the chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the state.











Adams, the immediate past State Deputy Chairman of PDP emerged after polling 1,343 votes to defeat his opponents and former Ose local government Chairman, Hon Dennis Alonge who got 3,69 votes.


In his reaction, Adams promised to embark on a massive reconciliatory mission in order to solidify the party ahead of the October 10, 2020 governorship election in the state.









Meanwhile, Hon. Alonge-Niyi has shown sportsmanship by congratulating the Chairman-elect, Hon. Adams over his victory. He has accepted the election in good faith but hopes that the outcome of the congress won’t spell doom for the party.
