JUST IN: Sad day as PDP chairman dies

Abia State PDP chairman, JohnsonIt was a sad day as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were thrown into mourning following the death of its Abia state chairman Johnson Onuigbo.
According to TVC News, Onuigbo popularly known as Akinboard passed away late hours on Monday, July 27, after a brief illness. His body has been deposited at an undisclosed hospital mortuary in Umuahia.
A source who spoke to the media house on the condition of anonymity said the cause of Onuigbo's death is not yet known.
The deceased headed the party's caretaker committee after the Abia state chapter of the opposition party dissolved the State Executive Committee of the PDP.
