Ondo Election: Jegede names Gboluga Ikengboju and Banke Sutton For Deputy Governor Slot
JEGEDE, Ondo state PDP governorship candidateGovernorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Eyitayo Jegede, SAN has dropped the names of Hon. Gboluga Ikengboju and Mrs Banke Sutton for the party’s leadership to pick one as his running.
A source close to Eyitayo Jegede revealed this development to Triangle Media on Monday.
Gboluga is a member of the House of Representatives from Okitipupa/Irele federal constituency while Mrs Sutton is a former aide in the administration of former Governor Olusegun Mimiko.
Gboluga hails from Okitipupa while Mrs Sutton is from Ilaje local government area.
INEC regulations stipulate that candidates are to announce their running mates before July 28 deadline.
