Lockdown: Unknown body found dead in Osogbo, Osun

An unidentified corpse was seen lying in the pool of blood along Olaiya/Ogo-oluwa road, Osogbo, the capital of Osun State in the early hours of today leading to an uproar of incessant pandemonium, VOICE AIR Media reports.
The unknown dead Man was found unconscious on the road side by residents, and nothing seemed to be amiss as appeared like an ordinary thing not until they moved closer and later discovered it was a dead body.
The perplexed residents raised an alarm and called the attention of policemen who were on duty to enforce lockdown order imposed by the state government to maintain the spread of Coronavirus pandemic in the state.
Our correspondent, who visited the area on tuesday, discovered that the dead man was seen on the road with leaves and rag to cover his brain and the deceased body on the floor with policemen, civil defence officers and health workers present at the scene.
According to VAM News reports, no one at the moment knows the cause of his death, whom is head had been smatched on the road causing his brain scattered on the floor.

People living in the area were overwhelmed with fear over the incident as a lot of them kept wondering and aghast at what must have led to the tragic and premature death of the young man.
Some said , maybe the deceased fell from the lorry or was hit by an hit-and -run driver.
Meanwhile, The unidentified body has been recovered by the officers of the Nigerian Police Force, Osun command, health workers in Osogbo who landed the scene removed the corpse of the deceased and had been taken to Mortuary at the State hospital.
