Policemen dehumanize Health Worker On Emergency Duty In Ondo(photos)

It was a sad day on Monday in Ondo state as a health worker has accused the Nigerian police of dehumanizing her life after they threw a log wood at the bike man conveying her to a health emergency situation, VoiceAir Media has gathered.
According to the man identified as Prince Fasisi Adewale, this happened at Irele, Ondo State on Monday as the woman was going to help deliver twin babies who were already in distress.
Prince further stated that the woman was allowed passage on two checkpoints but was attacked with a log of would on thw third.

“Nigerian Police With Their Nonchalant Attitude Sometimes!
While the health workers are at the fore front combating Covid-19, Nigerian police at Irele , Ondo State plot to kill A nurse/midwife who was called to rescue an emergency labour case of twin gestation having fetal distress already.”
“On her way to assist at work she met three checkpoints of which she explained to them that she is a health worker (nurse/midwife) and there is an emergency to attend to at work showing them her ID card, she was released at the 1st checkpoint, also the 2nd checkpoint released her. ”
“The officers at the third checkpoint threw a log of wood at the bike man, the bike man was hit and lost control of the bike making both the bike man to fall on motion and the nurse at the back sustaining degrees of injury. And they left her at the scene unattended to.’
According to reports obtained by our correspondent, while chatting with Mr Oluyemi Fasipe @Yemiefash on twitter, he said... "I am fully aware of this unfortunate development, the Ondo state CP has ordered an immediate investigation into the matter. I still heard from the victim yesterday."
Meanwhile, An activist, Comrade One Class, has encouraged the Ondo state CP to do everything possible in his capacity to bring the culprits to face the law.
